Bourgeois Trumpet Sonata is dedicated to a fine trumpeter in Mallorca, who plays first trumpet in the Felanitz Band. It is in three movements. The first is a sturdy allegro, the second a more reflective slow movement, and the finale is jovial and is cast in sonata rondo form.
