All credit card information is encrypted and transmitted securely using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. We do not store your credit card details on the web-site. We have implemented 3D Secure to provide an extra layer of protection for cardholders as recommended by Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode. You will be asked to enter an additional password after checkout completion to 'verify' you are truly the cardholder. We encourage you to enrol with 3D Secure for safer online shopping and if you have not joined the scheme you will be prompted to do so.
You can change the currency in which prices are shown on the shop web site pages at any point, using the drop-down menu within the currency converter module on the right of each page. Once you have chosen a currency, this choice will remain the default setting for all prices for the rest of your session on our site.
Please note: all converted prices are approximate, and are provided for your convenience of reference only. We update our approximated conversion rates regularly to help keep this approximation as exact as possible. However, the price you will actually be charged depends on the rate at the point of billing (when we despatch your order to you), rather than the estimated converted total at point of order. Trinity College London is not responsible for any such discrepancy between these rates.
Estimated despatch times for each item are displayed on the individual product pages. Please note, delivery times as stated below estimate the time it will take orders to reach customers after they have left the warehouse in the UK. Files will be downloaded and saved to your computer and you are permitted to make 1 print out of the file, or the number of copies specified in your corresponding choral licence.
Audio files are in MP3 format and can be accessed by clicking the “Download” link/s in the order confirmation email after the transaction has been processed and digital files are prepared for download. Files will be downloaded and saved to your computer.
Files are for personal use only and photocopying or digital distribution of any kind without a licence is prohibited.
Download links within order confirmation emails will remain active for 7 days from the date of purchase. If you are unable to save or print files in this time, contact digitalsupport@boosey.com, quoting your order number, for further assistance.
Can I cancel or get a refund on a digital order?
Our sale and supply of digital sheet music files ('Digital Files') is governed by the Consumer Rights Act 2015. This provides that Digital Files supplied by us must match the way we have described them, and be fit for purpose and of reasonable quality.
Please note that if a Digital File supplied by us is faulty or is not as described, you are entitled to a replacement. If a replacement cannot be supplied within a reasonable period and without significant inconvenience, you are entitled to your money back.
How do I print my sheet music?
To print your sheet music, click on the link to “Download” next to the song title on the order summary page immediately after the transaction has gone through, or in the order summary email.
The PDF will start downloading to your browser:
Click on the file to open it once it has finished downloading. You can print it immediately from the browser or save it to your device.
Printing from iPad/Android/tablet device?
We would recommend printing from a PC or laptop rather than a tablet device.
Printing too small?
PDF files are set to our standard printing specification which is about 95% of the original page size to ensure that all the copyright information fits on the page.
When printing the sheet music some browsers use a default setting that adds additional margins, headers and footers to the page. When you come to print you should ensure that any options for headers and footers are deselected and that fields for margins are set to ‘minimum’ where possible.
Please try re-printing your purchase with these fields deselected.
My order is not printing properly / I’m not happy with my print
If you are not satisfied with the print quality of your order please contact the Digital team on digitalsupport@boosey.com quoting you order number.
My order is faulty/inaccurate
We strive to ensure all our sheet music is accurate and of the highest quality. If you are not happy with your purchase please contact digitalsupport@boosey.com quoting your order number and we will respond as soon as possible.
Can I transpose my sheet music?
Unfortunately, this facility is not currently possible with the digital sheet music delivery technology used on our platform.
Trying to download audio files to mobile/tablets?
You will not be able to download the mp3 audio file from your purchase directly to your mobile/tablet device due to Apple's proprietary restrictions within their device (hardware and software) framework, which does not permit the importing/downloading of non-iTunes Store-purchased content onto iPhones/iPads. You will instead need to log into your account using a desktop PC/Mac which has iTunes installed, where you should then be able to download the audio file, import it into your iTunes music library and then sync with your other device(s) either via direct cable-linking of the device(s) or via the iCloud service.
Why do you need my address details?
To verify your credit card details with the payment provider and for billing purposes.
Can I photocopy my sheet music?
It is illegal to photocopy music without a licence from the copyright owner. To photocopy without permission is to steal from the composer/author and the publisher and will result in copyright infringement.
